Great Antenna
I bought the Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified to view HD channels. I have doubled the channels that I can view now. I have access to channels that I could not view before. This is a great antenna to buy for someone looking to enhance their current TV watching experience.

It does the job!
I live about 45-50 miles from the TV transmitters, with no hills in the way. This antenna pulls in all channels strongly. I am very satisfied with it, though I wish it took up a bit less space.

Not the best
Supposedly this was supposed to be the best antenna on the market for HDTV, but i could only get one channel. I purshased the dish looking antenna from radioshack and it picked up everything. I guess its like any antenna as they all work different per your area. The construction of this antenna is first class, I do have to say.

Disappointing
I was encouraged by all the good reviews, however, it turned out to be no better than the old 4 fin style antennae. Several stations have weak signals and kept freezing up or going out altogether. So I hooked up the terk and... NO SIGNAL said the screen. I hooked up the old one and got the station to come in. The amplifier was plugged in and it did boost the signal as I tested it on the stronger stations. But in the end the old one did just as good and even better on some stations. I guess a big one on the roof is needed or maybe I can talk my mom and sister to finally get a dish so I can have something to watch when I go visit!!

Only good for HD channels reception
This product will pick up very clear 5-6 HD local channels, ABC, NBC, Fox news, weather channel... The regular non HD channel does not coming clear at all and it's useless. also, it minimizes the channel from freezing up. It has its own cable built in and you cannot use other better cable to upgrade the reception by reducing interference.
