| Item arrived in sealed packaging but was defective once opened. Picture is watchable but dark throughout, and there is no setting on the unit to increase the brightness. Tried different sources, from DVD player to camera or even a computer, all result in a well-formed, dark picture, in contrast with a clear, bright picture I was able to get through my VCR before it broke. I understand this is likely an exception, but you have no way of finding out in advance. I displaced the original package, and now I cannot find any contact info for Recoton company online. The unit says Recoton on some of its parts but Jensen in front, and the Jensen company website does not have this product listed. And finally A1books (seller) policy prohibits me from returning/exchanging the open item. |

| Recoton Rocks! |
| My bedroom TV is very old and only has a coax input. The Recoton DVD647 RF Modulator has allowed me to connect both my Tivo and my DVD player to it and automatically switch between the two. I love this thing! |

| Good product but fragile |
| The product did everything it should but my 3 year old tugged a bit on it and easily broke the "nub" off the back where the Coax plugged into. I didn't try to return it as we only needed this modulater for 5 weeks and it isn't worth the hassle. |

| Nice 4 the Price |
| This is a nice RF modulator for less than $12.00. It is a bit oversized and does not include the cords to connect to the TV. I bought this for my step son to use with his Leapster at his Mom's and as far as I know it works fine. |

| This product works well but it is oversized . I found a much smaller rf modulator at the local family dollar. |
