| With an odd-shaped console and dashboard in our vehicle, I really needed more versatility than a permanent or window 'suction' mount could offer. Enter this product. The weight is enough to keep my unit where I choose to set it. The non skid rubber-like base is slightly moldable, to further enhance the "stays put" character of the product. The mounting stem locks into the base with a quick-release key. As an added safety feature, there is a locking lever which disables the quick release latch, avoiding unintentional releases from the base. |

| Dashboard mount - a pleasant surprise |
| The windshield mount wasn't good for me. Then I would place the Garmin GPS on the console near the gear shift. T hat was a disaster. If there was someone in the passenger seat they would hold it. The portable friction dashboard mount is great. It holds fine and in the right position. It does not shift. I store it in the trunk of the car when not in use. I would highly recommend it. |

| No problem |
| When the advertise the no skid/slide bottom, they mean it. It has been on my dash for 6 month and never moved a bit. The vendor was very prompt in delivering the goods in perfect condition. I will not hesitate in ordering from this vendor again. |

| Effective Dashboard Mount |
| I was looking for a replacement for the totally ineffective suction windshield mount that comes with the Garmin 650 nüvi GPS. The suction cup never stayed attached longer than a few minutes despite even using glycerin as a sealant. In hot weather I often could not attach it at all. "It sucks", sadly not literally. I saw this mount reviewed on Amazon; despite the product description, the user said it works on the 650, so I purchased it. It is a great product and solved my problem. It stays in place on the dash and is easily removed with the GPS for security. I recommend it highly. |

| Great GPS Mount |
| This portable friction dashboard mount for my Garmin Nuvi works great! Better than that, it leaves no tell tale rings on the windshield glass to alert would be burglars. It stows quickly in the well between seats. I was surprised at how well it stays in place on the dash as the car brakes and takes curves. This is well worth the money for the convenience and safety. It does need to be put in place while you are stopped. It takes two hands to slip the GPS under the hook securely. It wouldn't be safe to do it while driving. |
