| WARNING to PS3 & Samsung TV owners!! |
I bought this cable assuming it would be good enough quality to connect my Sony PS3 to my Samsung 650 series 52" LCD TV, boy was I wrong. I was unable to get a signal to my TV at 1080p with this cable. I was able to only go as high as 1080i. Anytime i tried to send a 1080p signal I received an error on screen from the Samsung TV. I called Samsung and tried everything to make things work. Finally, I decided to go to best buy and get a couple higher quality cables to test out before sending the TV back.
I bought a $100 cable from some brand called Pysclone (HDMI version 1.3b), which did work but it created this sparkly effect on the screen which was very annoying, almost like an interference issue, then I tried the Sony PS3 brand HDMI cable (HDMI version 1.3a). The Sony HDMI cable worked perfect! I'm so happy now!
Anyway, my previous assumptions about all HDMI cables being the same was shattered. It may be that lesser quality cables work in some instances, but with these two specific pieces of equipment: the Sony PS3 and the Samsung 650 52" LCD TV, the cable quality definitely matters. Hope this helps someone else out there who may be experiencing similar issues. |

| Perfect HDMI Cable for Superior HD Quality |
If you're in the market for an HDMI cable then you've probably seen a wide range of prices anywhere from $20 to well over $100. Well you've now come across the perfect product for your needs. Don't pay those outrageous prices for something else that will do the same thing. I was skeptical about this too when I read the reviews but worry not, this is a steal and will work perfectly.
Luckily if you're a Playstation 3 owner you no longer have to purchase a special PS3 compatible cable as you would have done on the older PS and PS2 systems. This cable will work with your PS3 as well as any Blu-Ray player or anything with HDMI output.
So if you need an HDMI cable now or will be in the market for a new HDTV soon go ahead and grab one of these because when you're at the store the sales person will pressure you into an expensive cable. You'll be tempted to pay more so you can "get it now" but don't fall into their trap. Save yourself the $$$$. |
