I did a lot of research before buying this one, and I feel like it's comparable to the Garmins that are over $100 more expensive than this unit. I have read reviews that claim that the Garmin routing is a bit more intelligent in side by side comparisons. My suggestion, if you're going to use a GPS everyday to get you to places you've never been before, than spend a lot more, get a top-of-the-line Garmin. I like this unit so uch that I think I'll buy one for myself. blue tooth works well, start up time is satisfactory, I don't think I have to go anywhere so eargent that I can't wait 30 seconds to load. text to speech is loud and clear.
