| As a Kindle owner for the past 10 months, I would say this this product is not necessary. Kindle does not have an interactive screen, so you don't need to be touching or writing on it. I can also testify that the screen itself is very tough, as the arm that held up the middle of the awning on our travel trailer fell directly onto it from a height of at least 6 feet last May. The screen was not damaged, although there is a small mark at the point of impact underneath. It affects the display for about a single letter (the ink techonlogy), but the screen itself was not damaged. This baby is tough. |

| I found this product easier to apply than other reviews indicated. I kept one corner up, lifted it again to smooth out air bubbles, and then lay it back down, and it has worked out really well. |

| OK but overpriced! |
| There are two advantages to this product. First it is cut to size and second it is reasonably flat finished or reduces glare. I have used protectors on PDA's in the past and this one is no better or worse than any of the one's I have used as far as the quality goes. My wife, my son, his wife and I all have Kindles. I purchased this protector as a test for everyone else. At $15.95 plus $3.40 shipping for a product that comes in the mail in an envelope, is not reasonable. The postage is $.62. About what the sheet of plastic is worth. You have to realize it is a piece of clear plastic sheeting with adhesive on it. You can do the same thing with static cling film. Don't think we will be buying for the other 3 Kindles. I may see if I can put transparency film on the others. |

| A must have for Kindle Users... |
| This is a really great product. It's very clear and easy to read with it on. Honestly, you don't even notice that it's there. Take your time installing it and soon you'll have peace of mind knowing that your kindle screen is protected from scratches. Adhere one section at a time, being sure to clear out the bubbles as you go and you'll be bubble free in no time. Definitely, a must have item if you own a kindle. |

| Protect Your Kindle Investment |
I think Amazon should include this product or one similar with the Kindle. I was nervous about the screen getting scratched and finally got smart and looked for a screen protector. It did take a few tries to get the bubbles to the edge of the screen, but I'm really pleased with it and pleased with how it cuts down on the glare. It is easily removed if you need to clean it or want to work bubbles out.
I really do recommend this product to Kindle owners. |
